Executive, Career, & Leadership Coaching

Coaching for Professionals with ADHD

Support that works with your brain—not against it.
You’re smart, capable, and driven. But staying organized, consistent, and managing competing priorities often comes with additional effort.

Maybe your mind feels like it’s running in ten directions at once—or sometimes, not at all. You might swing between hyperfocus and procrastination, perfectionism and paralysis. You know what you want to do—but doing it consistently? That’s a different story.

ADHD looks different in adults, especially in high-achieving professionals. It often hides behind phrases like, “I just need to get more disciplined” or “I do better under pressure.” Over time, that pattern becomes exhausting.

I offer a better way for leading a satisfying life and successful career. I specialize in helping professionals like you achieve balance, fulfillment, and greater sense of calm amongst the chaos. Achieve more with more effective systems and strategies tailored to YOUR needs.

Common Challenges of leaders and Professionals with adhd

My coaching approach blends neuroscience-informed strategies with deep understanding of the emotional experience of ADHD. I work with professionals, leaders, or executives juggling competing demands who often experience:

  • Difficulty with prioritization
Struggling to identify what’s most important when everything feels urgent.
  • Time blindness
Losing track of time, underestimating how long tasks will take, or being chronically late or rushed.
  • Initiating and following through
Starting tasks late (or not at all), and struggling to finish projects without a fire under your know what.
  • Overcommitting and people-pleasing
Saying yes to too many responsibilities and then feeling overwhelmed and resentful or experiencing difficulty delivering on promises.
  • Mental fatigue and decision paralysis
Feeling drained by constant decision-making, especially when choices feel high-stakes.
  • Procrastination and perfectionism
Delaying tasks due to fear of failure, imposter syndrome, or the need to “do it perfectly.”
  • Inconsistent focus
Experiencing swings between hyperfocus and distractibility, often missing the middle ground.
  • Emotional reactivity and sensitivity to feedback
Taking criticism personally, overanalyzing interactions, or struggling to bounce back after setbacks.
  • Working harder, not smarter
Relying on last-minute energy, stress, or adrenaline to get things done, leading to burnout.
  • Trouble delegating or trusting others
Micromanaging due to difficulty letting go of control or fear others won’t meet expectations.
  • Difficulty creating sustainable routines
Traditional time-management and productivity tools may not stick, leading to cycles of chaos and recovery.
  • Internalized shame or imposter syndrome
Feeling like you’re not meeting your potential or fearing you’ll be “found out” as incompetent.
  • Have high potential but underutilize strengths
Despite intelligence and creativity, ADHD leaders may not feel like they’re performing at their best—or feel their strengths are misunderstood.

Yes, in a clinical counseling setting. It’s important to understand our work together in coaching will never include or involve counseling or diagnosis. If you’re interested in getting a formal ADHD diagnosis, I can recommend clinical professionals to work with alongside our work together. I will not provide you with an ADHD diagnosis as your coach.

Integrating ADHD Coaching into your executive coaching focuses on improving organization, time management, decision-making, and emotional regulation that may be hindering you from leveling up in your leadership or career. Techniques may include creating structured routines, using technology for reminders, practicing more mindful habits, and leveraging your team more effectively. Once you find a way to make your ADHD work better for you, it frees up more time and energy to achieve more.

There’s likely a reason you struggle to enjoy mindfulness. Traditional mindfulness practices are often challenging for adults with ADHD because the way your brain works. My approach to mindfulness is a bit different in that we view it as a process for achieving contact with the present moment to make more mindful decisions about what actions we want to take next. It’s a more active way of using mindfulness so you can more readily accomplish goals, tasks, and improve connection with others. I integrate active mindfulness practices you can do every day without having to stop what you’re doing and meditate.

Yes. The majority of my clients are successful leaders and executives with ADHD, including those in C-suite positions. Examples of some professionals I currently or have worked with include attornies, physicians, engineers, and executives in various industries.

I hold advanced training and experience in the psychological of clinical mental health, career development, and organizational behavior (industrial organizational psychology). As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I balance my time in clinical work and managing my private practice with consulting working with leaders and organizations to improve effectiveness. This provides me with a depth of experience and training that goes beyond coaching, including over an estimated 8,000 (I stopped counting) hours of direct client work, maintaining relevant and yearly continuing education, and engaging in consultation as needed.

Many people become coaches in executive coaching and leadership development as experienced executives themselves. These individuals offer a significant value to their clients in that they are able to address and offer advice on organizational and business problems. However, I leverage your expertise as it is most likely you’re already filled with extensive experience and knowledge in your given industry and field. You know how to do you job, I help you unlock the people side of what prevents further growth and success. If we run into an area where you need additional training or wish to enhance experience with specific skills outside of my scope, we simply connect you with mentors or learning opportunities to grow those areas.

Anyone can call themselves a coach, so it’s important to understand the experience and training of your coach prior to working with them.
